The Church of the Resurrection offers several forms of pastoral care to our members, other Catholics, and people in need.
Bereavement Ministry - When a family member, friend or member of the parish passes from this life to the next, there is a need to both mourn their passing and celebrate the life they lived amoung us. This ministry helps plan the funeral celebration and ministers to family members afterward.
Ministry to the Sick - Ministers of the sick visit and bring communion to those who are sick in the hospital, in nursing homes and in their own homes. The sick and elderly are also held in prayer every day and every week in our parish bulletin. We also celebrate the Anointing of the Sick twice a year at the Saturday evening Mass, and any time requested before surgery or in an emergency.
Ministry to the Poor - The Church of the Resurrection serves the hungry by operating a Food Pantry through the local chapter of St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Men's and Women's Groups - Men and women of the parish gather together monthly to support one another. They focus on deepening their faith, being of service to one another, the parish and to those in need.
Rock of Ages Seniors Group - Parish seniors (55+) meet on the second Tuesday of the month in the Parish Center for lunch and fellowship. They plan other events and sometimes bring in speakers of interest to the members.
