The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Keep the Dream Alive” Committee is accepting nominations for the 2023 “Keep the Dream Alive” Awards. We welcome the return of the awards ceremony founded by Bro. Hugh Henderson to the Church of the Resurrection. The 21st celebration will be held on MLK Day, Monday, January 16, 2023.
The 2023 theme is We Are One: Do Justice, Do Peace. Since the pandemic, divisions and violence within and between our local, national and international communities have intensified. With our theme, we hope to highlight individuals who recognize our common bonds, and strongly advocate for unity, justice and peace.
The deadline for nominations is
Monday, October 3, 2022.
Nomination form is below.
‘Believing with a Grateful Heart’ Campaign Launches This Weekend. The purpose of the “Believing with a Grateful Heart” campaign is two-fold: To reduce the deficit in our operations budget and to develop and maintain a 6-month operational reserve fund. As we move close to our 12th Anniversary, we want to look to the future and focus on growing our legacy. The year-long BWGH campaign will enable us to do just that, setting us free to have the resources and flexibility to go after whatever God has in mind for us in the next chapter of our lives together. Let’s answer that CALL TOGETHER!
