Sacristans

Sacristans serve the entire community and they provide essential help to Presiders, Deacons, Readers, Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, Altar Servers, Music Ministers, Greeters/Ushers, and all other liturgical ministers. Sacristans assist the worship community to fulfill their role as full, active and prayerful participants at Mass. Overall, the ministry of Sacristan is to oversee and keep in good order the sanctuary and sacristy.  They must have a reverence for the sanctuary and sacred vessels used in worship and liturgical celebrations.
